Have you heard of Garage Band? Now when I speak of Garage Band I dont mean the Apple program but a web site that is catered to independent artists of all genre’s. When I first started to look into means of getting my artist’s music exposed I happened to stumble upon the site and honestly I was blown away. In a nutshell Garage Band allows you to upload you music for free or for a price and then force’s people to listen and review your music! Simple huh… don’t think so! It’s a job, because in order for you to upload a song for free you have to review 15 songs of any genre you choose. When they say review they really mean it to, because other people review your review and score you on it to see how much time you put to giving an accurate opinion of the song you heard. Bottom line I would advise any artist, label or writer who has music to get their music on Garage Band! But it’s not for the weak hearted, you will get very accurate opinions of your respective songs and there are very strong critic’s out there! Consider it a part time job, because you wil have to take out time to review songs, if you can’t afford to pay to upload your music.
