XM Radio has dedicated a channel for unsigned artists/musicians and they are paying ROYALTIES! There are no gimmicks or fine print all they ask is that you be a member of any of the performing rights societies such as ASCAP, SESAC, and BMI. This shouldn’t be a problem for you the artist because you should be a member of at least one of these societies anyway!
